Q1. What if I miss my entrance test?
Ans. If you miss your entrance test, you need to re-register yourself from the very first step of the admission process all over again and select another date of the entrance test.
Q2. What if I get late for the entrance test?
Ans. The time for the entrance test is fixed from 10 AM to 1 PM and will not be extended under any circumstances. We suggest you manage your time accordingly.
Q3. What if I want to get admission to the school’s other campus for which I have not filled out the form?
Ans. The admission to another campus, that you have not filled the form for, is subject to the availability of the seats in the other campus in that particular class. This can be done only during the registration stage.
Q4. Is my registration amount transferrable to some other student in my place?
Ans. No, the registration amount is non-transferable.
Q5. Can I pay my registration fee online?
Ans. Registration fee can only be paid offline at the school desk .
Q6. Would I be given retest chance if I fail in my entrance test?
Ans. The school does not allow any retest in case the candidate fails the entrance exam.
Q7. How would I be informed about my entrance test result?
Ans. The candidate would be informed about the entrance result through mail as well as telephonically.
Q8. How long a period I would get for me to confirm my admission after the declaration of my entrance test result?
Ans. A period of 7 days is given to complete all the admission formalities starting from the date of declaration of result. The admission would be confirmed only after the submission of fees for the first quarter and the submission of required documents.
Q9. Can I book my seat by making a partial payment?
Ans. SRBPS provides no such provision as booking of the seat by making a partial payment.
Q10. When can I submit my SLC as my previous school has not yet provided the same?
Ans. The SLC from the previous school attended must be submitted by 5th April failing which the school holds the right to cancel the admission of the student.
Q11. Is there any concession offered by school?
Ans. There is one ‘Whole Year Fee Payment Discount’. Parents can opt to pay the whole year’s fee at one go, by 15th of April, for a concession of Rs.1000 on the total amount.
Q12. Are there any late fee charges?
Ans. Yes, a nominal late fee charge is levied on the student in case the fee is not paid within the stipulated time period.
Q13. Are they CCTV cameras installed in the campus?
Ans. Yes, all the SRBPS campuses have CCTV cameras installed at all positions to ensure the safety and security of its students at all times.
Q14. How many labs are there?
Ans. Both the senior SRBPS campuses at Sainik Nagar & NN Road have well-equipped, comprehensive Physics, Chemistry, Biology, General Science, Computers, Maths and language labs. The school also boasts of a state-of-the-art Robotics and AI lab.
The pre-primary SRBPS campuses at MT and Omaxe have well-designed activity labs with all sorts of games, activities, and Tabs for the students.
Q15. How will a child who is currently in a vernacular medium state school and has never been to an English medium school cope with the culture shift and syllabus requirements?
Ans. The school will do all it can to make sure that the child gets the best out of his experience in SRBPS. We realize the transition to an English medium school will not be easy, therefore, we provide many extra facilities such as extra assistance and mentor services to ease in the transition.
Q16. How often will there be PTMs?
Ans. A good number of PTMs to discuss the performance of the child in various fields, are organized by the school in a timely manner. There would be around 5-6 PTMs in an year.
Q17. How does the school take care of the mental health of the child?
Ans. The school gives utmost importance to the mental health of its students. Extra care is taken to not hurt the emotional health of a child and all the issues are dealt with very carefully. Teachers are also given special workshops for the same.
Q18. What is your view on corporal punishment?
Ans. The school does not support any form of corporal punishment and abides its teachers by its strict rules so as to not use the same in their classrooms.
Q19. Can a student take tuition from his/her school teachers after admission?
Ans. No, the school does not allow its students to take tuition from his/her school teachers.
Q20. How does the school train its teachers?
Ans. The school organizes a number of workshops by highly qualified resource persons to enhance various skills of the teachers. The teachers also attend CBSE specified workshops at various platforms to hone better teaching skills.
Q21. Does the school provide an Air conditioning facility?
Ans. The school provides the Air conditioning facilities in two of its campuses viz. Omaxe and Model town only.
Q22. Does the school provide transport facilities to all the nooks & corners of the city?
Ans. All the branches of SRBPS provide transport to only a specific region of the city which has been clearly mentioned in the information brochure itself. The parents can choose the branch according to their convenience themselves.
Q23. Does the school provide door-to-door transport service?
Ans. The school has specified proper bus stops that suit the need of all the neighboring area students very well. It is the parent’s responsibility to receive the child at the bus stop in a timely manner.
